Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited is seeking a Deliver Driver 12t in Cardiff to join our Pipe and Climate Centre. You will be responsible for delivering boilers and radiators to customer sites and building sites, driving a 12t vehicle, and conducting daily vehicle checks.

The role is a permanent, 40-hour week (Mon-Fri) with no weekend work, offering a competitive salary plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits package. Warehouse duties may be required when not delivering.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving license is required.
• CPC qualification and digital tachograph knowledge required.
• Warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience with multi-drop driving and a can-do attitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering boilers and radiators to customer sites and building sites.
• Drive a 12t vehicle.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Complete 6–10 drops per day in South Wales and surrounding areas.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items for loading and unloading.
• Assist in warehouse when back from deliveries, unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and tidying.

As a Deliver Driver 12t based in Cardiff you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering various items such as boilers and radiators to our customers sites and building sites.
• Driving 12t vehicle.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• You will complete anything from 6 -10 drops a day in the within South Wales and surranding areas.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items loading and unloading them from vehicles.
• Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 07:00AM - 16:00PM. No weekend work required.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• A class 1 driving license.
• CPC and digital tachograph.
• Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial though not essential.
• Previous multi drop driving experience with a can do attitude.
