GTS Group Ltd on the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire border is seeking a Marketing Lead to shape and own the marketing strategy for its defence and security technology portfolio. You will set brand, positioning, budget and target markets, and collaborate with sales and bids to drive targeted campaigns and proposals.

The role is hands-on and senior, requiring the ability to translate complex engineering into clear messages, manage agencies and budgets, and travel within the UK and abroad as needed.

Qualifications

• Senior B2B marketing experience in defence, aerospace, security or another technical sector.
• Ability to turn complex engineering into clear messages.
• Experience managing agencies and budgets.
• A hands-on approach: you’ll set the strategy and deliver much of it yourself.
• Eligibility for SC clearance.

Responsabilités

• Own and shape the marketing strategy, reporting to Sales Director.
• Set brand, positioning, budget and target markets.
• Collaborate with sales and business development on targeted campaigns and bids.
• Produce sales materials, case studies and capability statements.
• Run the website, social media and PR.
• Represent the company at defence exhibitions and events.
• Ensure content complies with export control and security rules.
• Occasional UK and international travel.
