Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Public Sector Account Executive to expand Elastic’s footprint in UK Defence, driving adoption of Observability, Search, Security and cloud across Defence organisations. You will build awareness, evangelise Open Source offerings, and close complex transactions by leveraging a broad ecosystem of customers, partners and internal teams.

You will need a proven Defence sales background, a deep SaaS understanding, and the credibility to navigate this sector while forecasting

Qualifications

• Track record of success in selling or business development in the Defence market.
• Experience selling SaaS solutions across Observability, Search, Security and Cloud is a plus.
• Ability to build credibility with Defence stakeholders and navigate the sector.
• Apply sales methodologies to support Defence customers and forecast accurately.
• Appreciation for Open Source go-to-market models and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Build awareness and demand for Elastic solutions within Defence.
• Evangelise Open Source offerings while communicating commercial capabilities to stakeholders.
• Uncover new and diverse use cases to maximize value for users.
• Collaborate across Elastic functions for a seamless customer experience.
• Identify new business opportunities, manage sales cycles, and close complex transactions.
• Develop a robust plan through community, customer and partner ecosystems to grow Elastic footprint in territory.
