Job summary
Babcock International in Helensburgh is seeking a skilled Scaffolder to deliver safe, compliant scaffolding services at HMNB Clyde Faslane. You will work with engineering teams to support maintenance, inspections and engineering activities across the Clyde estate, helping keep critical assets operational and ready for demanding national defence operations.
The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, requiring experience with Cuplock and tube-and-fitting systems, plus an Advanced Scaffolder (Blue
Qualifications
- Experience delivering scaffolding services in support of engineering, maintenance or industrial operations.
- Experience working with tube and fitting scaffolding systems.
- Experience using Cuplock systems.
- Experience carrying out scaffold inspections, maintenance and modifications.
- Experience working safely within regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out scaffolding operations using tube and fitting systems and recognised scaffold products.
- Constructing, modifying and dismantling Cuplock and advanced scaffolding structures.
- Supporting engineering teams to deliver planned preventative maintenance and repair activities.
- Inspecting and maintaining scaffold installations to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and working practices.
