Job summary

Babcock International Group is seeking an Engineering Support Fabricator at HMNB Clyde Faslane to maintain and enhance naval assets. You will perform fabrication work, interpret drawings, and troubleshoot faults to support maintenance and refit operations, all within a safety-focused team.

The role is full-time on site at Faslane, with SC clearance requirements and a competitive benefits package. Generous holiday, pension, and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in welding/fabrication to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• HNC or above in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Experience with fabrication, welding, drilling and using workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform light to heavy fabrication and structural work for maintenance/refit.
• Interpret engineering drawings/plans to manufacture or repair systems.
• Investigate faults and determine effective repair methods.
• Complete Engineering Support work packages to maintain operational availability.
• Work within Health and Safety legislation and contribute to process improvements.
