Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Requirements Manager to join the Defence Programme Performance team in the UK. The role focuses on capturing, validating and governing project requirements across multiple programmes, including nuclear.

You’ll work with clients and senior leaders, on-site or at Turner & Townsend offices up to 60% of the time, with flexibility based on business needs. A background in defence and regulated environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Defence or regulated sectors.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive requirements management.
• Familiarity with DOORs or similar requirements tools.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of risk management certifications is beneficial.
• Understanding of Defence, Rail, Infrastructure, or Digital/AI project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Capture and assess requirements, validating stakeholder needs.
• Develop and implement robust requirements for future capabilities.
• Maintain and publish requirements registers and documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients and leadership.
• Create management plans aligned to processes and standards.
• Lead workshops and training to promote proactive requirements management.
• Lived experience and transferable skills can be valued over full technical fit.
