Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Project Requirements Manager to support Defence Programme Performance. You'll work with clients across the UK, delivering robust requirements management and engaging stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence.

You'll typically be on client sites or Turner & Townsend offices up to 60% of the time, with hybrid working to balance commitments. Prior Defence/regulatory experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Industry experience within a Defence or regulated sector project/programme environment.
• Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive requirements management and an integrated process.
• Experience with DOORs or Advanced Excel is highly beneficial.
• Project management proficiency is an advantage.
• Benefits mapping or understanding is useful.
• Familiarity with project life cycles in Defence, Rail, Infrastructure, or Digital/AI (RIBA/GRIP).
• Recognised qualifications such as APM Project Risk Management, MR or IRM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Capture and assess requirements through workshops; validate and verify key stakeholder needs.
• Develop strategic requirements to support future capabilities.
• Maintain up-to-date requirements registers and deliver fit-for-purpose documents.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients and leadership to align validation and verification.
• Produce management plans across multiple projects ensuring alignment to standards.
• Lead training sessions to raise awareness of requirements management.
