Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks an experienced Project Manager to deliver a defence-sector programme in Lakenheath. You will lead civil, building and M&E works, manage risk, and drive on-time, within-budget outcomes.

You will bring a proven track record in main contractor environments, strong leadership, and NEC contractual knowledge, with eligibility for security clearance and relevant qualifications. A competitive benefits package awaits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
• Experience delivering civils, building and M&E works.
• Strong understanding of project planning, programme management, commercial awareness and risk management.
• Experience on defence, secure government, infrastructure or highly regulated projects advantageous.
• Leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong contractual and commercial understanding, including NEC forms.
• Track record delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the relevant security clearance required for defence-sector projects.

Responsibilities
