Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is recruiting a Project Manager for a critical defence-sector programme in Lakenheath. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering civil, building and M&E works and ensuring project objectives are met safely, on time and within budget.

You will bring proven PMC experience in a main contractor, strong planning, risk and commercial awareness, and the ability to secure relevant security clearances for defence projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
• Experience delivering projects that include civils, building and M&E works would be advantageous.
• Strong contractual and commercial understanding, including NEC forms of contract.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the relevant security clearance required for defence-sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful delivery of a defence-sector project in Lakenheath, coordinating civil, building and M&E works.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams, programmes and budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Build high-performing teams and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients, suppliers and internal VolkerWessels UK units.
