Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a defence-sector programme in the UK, encompassing civil, building and M&E works. You will drive project delivery, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure safety, timeliness and budget adherence.

The role requires strong planning, risk management and stakeholder management skills, with a background in main contracting and NEC contracts. Defence clearance eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
• Delivery of civils, building and M&E works.
• Strong planning, commercial awareness and risk management.
• Defence or regulated projects experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver defence-sector works safely, on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage programmes, plans and schedules with stakeholders.
• Monitor risks, costs and performance, escalating issues as needed.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
