Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Product Consultant to own backlog maturity and drive MVP thinking from inception to delivery. You will lead agile ceremonies, run workshops, and engage diverse stakeholders to secure consensus.

The role involves coaching a small team and contributing to product initiatives and client engagements. You will have strong experience in bespoke software delivery within a consulting environment, with defence sector exposure and active DV clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in bespoke software delivery as part of an agile team delivering for external customers (consulting environment).
• Defence sector experience is preferred and DV clearance is required.
• Excellent facilitation of workshops and ability to drive consensus among stakeholders.
• Strong skills in eliciting functional, technical and non-functional requirements and translating into clear user stories.

Responsibilities

• Owns backlog maturity for the team and drives MVP thinking from inception through delivery.
• Leads agile ceremonies, plans workshops and engages stakeholders to achieve consensus.
• Manages, coaches and develops a small team, focusing on performance and growth.
• Supports delivery initiatives within the Product capability and collaborates on bid activities when needed.
