Job summary

Amey Defence Equipment in Abingdon is launching a 2-year Business Graduate pathway. The role offers mentoring, structured development, and a guaranteed permanent position after completion. Salary is £28,500 per annum with potential UK-wide travel and some home working, 37.5 hours/week.

The programme starts September 2027. DBS clearance is required, and a driving licence is desirable. The role provides earnings progression, training opportunities, and professional qualification support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree not required beyond 2:2; degree in Business Management or Engineering is acceptable.
• DBS clearance required or obtained prior to appointment.
• Available to join the programme in September 2027.
• A driving licence would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Business Systems and Operations Managers and report to the Account Manager.
• Develop understanding of the ERP system (IFS) to maximise capability across the business.
• Attend customer meetings and workshops and develop monthly reports.
• Assist ERP delivery, support and development.
• Assist in delivering contract requirements and process improvement initiatives.
• Support project managers to define scope of works, including costings, data capture and invoicing.
