Job summary

Amey Defence Equipment is offering a Commercial Graduate role in Abingdon with hybrid working and a £28,500 annual salary. The two-year pathway includes mentoring, a structured learning plan, and support toward a professional qualification, with a guaranteed permanent position on completion.

Starting September 2027, you will engage with commercial and operational activities, learn contract delivery, procurement, and bidding, and collaborate with stakeholders across MOD-enabled projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant field with evidence of commercial awareness.
• Full UK driving licence and BPSS clearance are required.
• Available to start September 2027.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to Commercial Managers to perform duties quickly and accurately.
• Preparing subcontracts and orders and submitting for processing.
• Supporting supplier review and on-boarding processes.
• Preparing IFS and Crystal Reports.
• Assisting in data collection and analysis for decision making.
• Communicating with clients to maintain relationships.
• Assisting in risk, change, cost and value management.
• Identifying and managing variations to contracts with the team.
