Amey is offering a Commercial Graduate role within the Defence Equipment Account. The position is based at MITER Service Centre in Abingdon with hybrid working (attend the office 2–3 days a week). The 2-year graduate pathway includes mentoring, a structured development plan, and support towards a relevant professional qualification.

Salary £28,500 per annum with opportunities for progression. Applicants should have a 2:2 degree in a related field, a UK driving licence, and BPSS clearance.

Formación

• Minimum 2:2 Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Business, Law, Construction Management, or a related discipline with evidence of commercial awareness.
• Available to join the programme in September 2027
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Responsabilidades

• Providing support to Commercial Managers that help them perform their duties quickly and accurately
• Preparing subcontracts and orders, and submitting for processing, including equipment purchases relating to the Asset Replacement Programme
• Supporting supplier review and onboarding process
• Preparing IFS and Crystal Reports
• Assisting in data collection and utilisation exercises to enable effective decision making and goal setting
• Communicating with clients to cultivate and maintain good relationships
• Assist in the delivery of commercial best practice with risk, change, cost, and value management
• Be pro-active in identifying variations to the works in conjunction with other Commercial team members
• Managing variations to the Contracts in conjunction with other Commercial team members and Project Managers
• Assisting in development and implementation of action plans for time, resource, and process management
• Support and commercial input to M&A and MOD bidding activities
• Support commercial mobilisation of new contracts
• Liaise with company legal function as required
• Support Non-Disclosure Agreement provision and development of teaming agreements
• Input to annual insurance renewals and provision of key data
