Job summary

Capita Fire and Rescue is hiring a Firefighter to support UK Ministry of Defence bases and critical operations. The role offers full training over 14 weeks at the Fire Service College, with accommodation and travel covered.

Qualifications

A good level of physical fitness and ability to pass fitness tests.
Strong teamwork and the ability to support others.
Clear communication skills.
Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
Right to work in the UK and ability to obtain Security Clearance.
Willingness to complete assessments if required.

Responsibilities

Responding to incidents and helping restore safety quickly and effectively.
Work with a professional emergency response team in a safety-critical environment.
Carrying out fire prevention and protection activities across Defence sites.
Supporting targeted safety campaigns that help protect people, equipment and infrastructure.
