Mitie is seeking a proactive Technical Manager to oversee day-to-day facilities operations at Armada, HMS Drake in Plymouth. You will ensure contracted services are delivered safely, compliantly, and to high standards, acting as the primary contact for operational matters across one or more sites.

Qualificações

• Technical background in electrical, mechanical or building services.
• Experience in hard facilities management and supervising engineers.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, and statutory compliance.
• Experience with CAFM systems for work orders and asset data.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical works, ensuring high safety and workmanship standards.
• Deputise Facilities Manager in their absence.
• Support site-based engineering and facilities teams.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements across site engineers and contractors.
• Utilise CAFM systems to track performance, assets, and compliance activities.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Ensure technical standards across building systems and infrastructure.
• Manage faults, breakdowns, testing and inspections, especially on Defence assets and naval accommodation.
• Act as Authorised Person where required; promote health & safety culture and Permit to Work.
• Oversee contractor performance and compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
