Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking a skilled Fabric Operative to join our team at RAF Croughton. You will maintain and repair building fabric, carry out carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general making good, ensuring safety and high standards while supporting Defence personnel.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the role requires a full UK driving licence, health and safety awareness, and SC Clearance.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have a proven background in fabric maintenance or building repairs.
• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve buildings and external works across RAF Croughton and Barford St Johns.
• Carry out fabric maintenance and repair tasks including carpentry, door/floor/ceiling repairs, painting touch-ups and making good.
