Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking a Multiskilled Operative to work across RAF Wittering & Wyton, handling a mix of planned and reactive maintenance. You will operate across multiple Defence sites, performing building repairs, minor plumbing, and decorating tasks within a customer-facing role.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to work independently in a varied environment, often lone-working, with occasional two-person tasks. A van and fuel card are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in handyperson or semi-skilled role.
• Ability to work independently and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Strong communication with site users and stakeholders.
• Good practical skills with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out wide range of repairs across building services.
• Perform minor plumbing and decorating tasks.
• Conduct fire alarm testing and health & safety duties.
• Maintain visual standards and safe, functional spaces.
• Record work with PDA or paper-based systems.
