Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking an HVAC Engineer for RAF Croughton. You will perform planned and reactive HVAC maintenance on site, ensuring safe operation and compliance with RAMS and COSHH/RIDDOR requirements.

The role requires City and Guilds in Air Conditioning, F-Gas Cat 1, and a UK driving licence. You will work mostly independently in a defence environment, with some travel and a strong focus on safety.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance experience and fault diagnosis.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on HVAC systems on site.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and assist minor installations.
• Maintain documentation, RAMS, COSHH and RIDDOR compliance.
• Work mostly independently, with occasional collaboration with the team.

Education

City and Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning

F-Gas Category 1 qualification

Hydrocarbon refrigerant qualification (desirable)

First Aid or Health and Safety certifications (desirable)
