Job summary

Arcadis is expanding its UK defence cost management capability. You will lead delivery of cost management on small to medium projects (£5m-£150m) and govern project scopes within established controls, drawing on technical expertise.

You will coach junior staff, work with external stakeholders, and ensure robust reporting, budgeting, and risk management across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver value and compliance.

Qualifications

• Possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects/programme of works typically ranging between £5m and £150m.
• Experience coaching and mentoring more junior colleagues and emerging leadership skills.
• Experience working with external stakeholders to build client relationships.
• Experience in managing business relationships at middle-management level.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coaching and development of other team members to share knowledge and improve service delivery.
• Work with budgets and financial systems to produce reports, forecasts and track variances.
• Deliver cost projects or significant components within deadlines.
• Provide advice on risk management, compliance and associated behaviours.
• Present project risks or issues to senior managers to mitigate impact.
• Analyse data to inform cost and commercial management decisions.
