Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead cost management on defence-related developments, delivering cost control and commercial insight across multiple projects. You will coach junior staff, manage budgets, and provide risk guidance while maintaining compliance with internal controls.

Based in the UK, you will work with internal teams and external stakeholders, applying your experience in NEC contracts, BPSS clearance, and cost planning to help Arcadis deliver sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive cost management experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience coaching junior staff and leading teams.
• Strong financial modelling and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coaching and development of team members to raise service delivery.
• Work within financial systems to produce reports and forecasts and track budgets.
• Deliver small to medium cost projects or significant components of larger assignments within deadlines.
• Provide advice on risk management, compliance and associated behaviours to ensure adherence to Arcadis’ processes.
• Present project risks or issues to senior managers to protect project outcomes.
• Analyze data to collate key themes and provide recommendations for cost and commercial decisions.
• Share knowledge to drive service improvement and innovation.
