Job summary

Arcadis is expanding its UK defence cost management capability. You will manage cost management delivery for small to medium developments or major components of larger assignments, following controls and applying your technical knowledge.

Responsibilities include coaching junior staff, reporting within financial systems, delivering projects on time, assessing risks, and advising on cost and compliance to support informed management decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience actively supporting internal teams and mentoring junior staff on technically complex projects or programmes (£5m–£150m).
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues and leading collaborations with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop junior team members to raise service delivery standards.
• Produce reports and forecasts within financial systems and budgets, tracking budgets and variances.
• Deliver several small to medium cost projects or significant components within deadlines.
• Advise on risk, compliance and behaviours to align with Arcadis' processes.
• Present project risks to senior managers to avoid adverse impact.
• Analyze data to identify trends and provide recommendations to support cost and commercial decisions.
• Share knowledge to drive service improvement and innovation.
