Systems Engineering & Assessment Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead defence-related contract negotiations and commercial governance from our Bristol site with flexible/hybrid working.

The role focuses on negotiating customer contracts, drafting sub-contracts, and managing major procurement agreements to support current and future platforms. The successful candidate will coordinate with project management, technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance and effective commercial

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing defence-related contracts in engineering, manufacturing or naval environments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder communication at all levels.
• Experience in Government procurement.
• Experience working within the MOD, Defence or Aerospace industry.
• Desirable: Qualifications in contract law or a general law degree.
• Expertise with contracting methods and T&Cs.
• Knowledge of through-life support.
• Knowledge of pricing, terms and contractual documentation.
• Experience delivering commercial sales transactions, negotiation and bid preparation.

Aufgaben

• Negotiate and agree Customer Contracts and other relevant commercial documents.
• Draft, negotiate and agree sub-contracts and major procurement agreements.
• Manage customers as a key commercial contact.
• Coordinate commercial management of sub-contractors and contract reviews for new projects.
