Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in the UK seeks a Business Development Manager to identify, qualify and win new business for hardware products in defence, export and dual-use markets. You will hunter the market, build a robust pipeline and drive opportunities from shaping to order.

Based in Malvern with options for Farnborough or London, you will lead customer engagement, develop strategies and forecasts, and collaborate with Capture, Engineering and Programmes teams to win with a strong value proposition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales or capture in defence or related markets.
• Track record of identifying, qualifying and winning new opportunities and building a pipeline.
• Experience of international/export business development with relevant contacts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and progress new opportunities across the portfolio and assigned regions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer organisations, MOD/DE&S, OEMs and partners.
• Develop and shape international opportunities early, within export control requirements.
