Job summary

VIVO Defence Services seeks a Built Estate Manager to lead facilities management for a secure Defence environment in Salisbury. You will own the on-site delivery of maintenance, safety compliance, and stakeholder engagement with DIO/DSTL and other partners.

The role requires extensive estate/FM experience, knowledge of JSP375, and a focus on lifecycle planning, risk management, and value-for-money delivery. Hybrid site coordination and staff development are key components.

Qualifications

• Experience in estate or facilities management within complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of MOD systems, JSP375 and SWoW management.
• Management-level health and safety certification (e.g., SMSTS) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with MoD safety standards and JSP375.
• Oversee supply chain mobilisation and on-site team leadership.
• Manage local budgets and drive condition-based maintenance planning.
• Provide staff development and stakeholder engagement, including Helpdesk.
• Utilise Maximo data to inform operations and asset lifecycle decisions.
