Job summary

VIVO Defence Services, a joint venture between Serco and EQUANS, seeks a Building Services Manager to lead mechanical engineering services across a prestigious defence estate. You will oversee safe, compliant maintenance, inspections and testing, while guiding engineers and contractors and ensuring governance remains robust.

This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage complex systems (pressure, steam, industrial gases, fuels) within a highly regulated

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical engineering maintenance and compliance in highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering services across defence estate, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Oversee maintenance, inspection and testing activities to high standards.
• Act as technical authority for mechanical building services and advise on governance and handovers.
