Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Permanent Painter and Decorator (Damp and Mould Remedial) to service Bracknell and surrounding Berkshire. Salary is GBP35,000 per annum plus a Company Van and Fuel Card. The role is full-time, permanent with year-round work.

Role involves surface prep, anti-mould treatments, redecoration after remediation, and strong resident-facing service. NVQ in Painting and Decorating or equivalent experience is required, plus a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or time-served equivalent.
• Experience in domestic housing maintenance, disrepair or damp/mould work.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces, apply anti-mould treatments and stain blocking.
• Carry out full redecoration after damp/mould remediation with high standards.
• Interact professionally with residents and maintain a clean site.
• Manage daily job orders and travel across Bracknell locality.

About The Role

Are you an experienced Painter and Decorator looking for job security, competitive pay, and a company van? We are currently recruiting for a permanent Damp and Mould Decorator to join a dedicated residential housing maintenance team delivering key remedial works across social housing and domestic properties in Bracknell and the surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out surface preparation, stain:blocking, and anti:mould wash treatments across domestic properties.
• Executing full redecoration works following damp and mould remediation, including plaster repair prep, priming, brushing, and rolling to high standards.
• Interacting professionally with residents, ensuring clean, efficient, and respectful service on site.
• Managing daily job orders and travel efficiently across the Bracknell locality.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent time:served trade experience).
• Proven experience in domestic housing maintenance, disrepair, or damp/mould treatment.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential For Company Van Insurance).
• Strong customer service skills and high attention to detail.
