We are seeking a driven Decontamination Manager for Duchy Hospital in Truro.

The role:

Lead the delivery of the Decontamination service at Duchy Hospital in Cornwall, overseeing the operational performance and ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards for reusable medical devices. Manage the service within budget, provide leadership to the team, and support staff development.

Responsibilities include:

• Provision of ISO 13485 standard decontamination service
• Operational management of the decontamination service
• Budget management to ensure efficiency and quality
• Leadership and team direction
• Staff wellbeing and development

Qualifications and skills:

• Extensive management experience in decontamination
• Recognized decontamination qualification (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
