We are recruiting a driven and dynamic Decontamination Manager for Duchy Hospital in Truro.

The role:

Lead the delivery of the Decontamination service at Duchy Hospital, Cornwall. This is a strategic leadership role within Ramsay Health Care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage ISO 13485 standard decontamination service for reusable medical devices.
• Ensure operational performance of the decontamination service.
• Work within budget to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Operate as an autonomous practitioner across all areas.
• Provide leadership and direction to the team.
• Support staff wellbeing and development through appraisals.

Requirements:

• Extensive management experience in decontamination.
• Recognised decontamination qualification (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to implement positive change.
• Flexible approach to changing needs.
• Management certificate or equivalent (advantage).
