We are recruiting a driven Decontamination Manager for Duchy Hospital in Truro.

The role:

Lead the delivery of the Decontamination service at Duchy Hospital in Cornwall. This is a key strategic role within Ramsay Health Care for a progressive leader seeking career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage ISO 13485 standard decontamination services for reusable medical devices.
• Oversee operational performance of the decontamination service.
• Work within budget to ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining quality.
• Operate as an Autonomous Practitioner across all areas.
• Provide leadership and direction to achieve operational objectives.
• Support staff wellbeing and development through effective appraisals.

Qualifications and skills:

• Extensive management experience in decontamination.
• Recognised decontamination qualification (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to implement change.
• Flexible approach to meet changing needs.
