Full Time - 30 Hours

We are recruiting for a driven and dynamic Decontamination Manager for Duchy Hospital in Truro.

The role:

As our Decontamination Manager, you will lead the delivery of the Decontamination service to Duchy Hospital in Cornwall.

What you will be doing:

• Providing ISO 13485 standard decontamination service for reusable medical devices.
• Ensuring operational performance of the decontamination service at Duchy.
• Managing within a defined budget to ensure efficient service delivery without compromising quality.
• Working as an Autonomous Practitioner across all areas.
• Demonstrating leadership to guide the team towards operational goals.
• Supporting staff wellbeing and development through effective appraisals.

What you will bring:

• Extensive management experience in decontamination.
• Recognised decontamination qualification (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to implement change positively.
• Flexible approach to meet changing needs.
• Management certificate or equivalent (advantage).
