Brackenberry Ltd is seeking a Debt Recovery Officer on a 6-month contract in Cambridgeshire. The role focuses on delivering an efficient, customer-focused debt recovery service within the Income and Debt Recovery team, to maximise income and ensure payment resolution in line with policy and legal requirements.

Key duties include processing requests, handling queries, improving services, and reporting data. DBS checks are required, and immediate availability or short-notice start is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in transactional processing and debt recovery.
• Strong customer service skills, dealing with vulnerable customers.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to process financial data.
• Good written and verbal communication, able to interpret policies.

Aufgaben

• Provide operational services within the Debt Recovery team, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely end-to-end processing.
• Respond to and resolve service requests and queries, investigating customer queries and escalating complaints appropriately.
• Identify areas where service improvements can be made, making recommendations, and supporting system implementations and testing.
• Manage own workload accurately in a fast-paced environment and process high-quality data/financial information to support management reporting.
• Work collaboratively across projects, support colleagues, and mentor apprentices/trainees.
• Adhere to health, safety, equal opportunities, and data protection policies when dealing with internal/external stakeholders and vulnerable customers.
