DC Pensions Consultant

Mercer is seeking a DC Pensions Consultant to join our specialist team in delivering DC pension services to a large portfolio of clients. Mercer boasts one of the largest fully integrated groups of DC experts in the UK, including governance, scheme design, investment consultants, providers, and technical researchers and technicians.

This growth area of Mercer’s UK business is a key strategic focus, delivering successful pension and savings solutions for clients and creating career opportunities for our colleagues. Our collaborative team culture promotes our growth in winning new business and maintaining strong existing relationships.

Responsibilities:

1. Attend client meetings to support senior colleagues, assist in preparation, including producing meeting papers and managing actions.
2. Assist trustees and sponsors in managing their DC pension arrangements, working with corporate sponsors, trustee boards, and governance committees.
3. Serve as the DC governance consultant, promoting our services.
4. Support the lead consultant on complex and large clients.
5. Review work produced by analysts and junior consultants using Mercer software/tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in DC Pensions consulting.
• Ability to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues, clients, and providers.
• Client relationship management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Trust-based DC Pensions Consulting experience.
• Project management experience.
