Job Description:

Highly varied, progressive career move, joining a collaborative and supportive corporate-facing in-house team, supporting a multi-billion-pound pension fund.

London/hybrid c.2 days office-based.

About the role
  • Support strategic development and provide innovative solutions such as pension risk reduction and member options.
  • Assist in funding discussions, including valuation negotiations with trustees.
  • Act as a lead in providing actuarial input into IAS19 company accounting, working closely with advisors, auditors, and internal finance teams.
  • Manage reporting of pension scheme performance.
  • Support projects impacting DB and DC plans, such as M&A or restructurings.
About you
  • Suitable for a 1-2 year post-qualified actuary or someone who has recently stopped studying, drawing on experience gained in pension scheme management for DB plans, either in-house or in consultancy, supporting strategy development, implementation, and project management skills.
