Job summary

L’Oréal Group's Physical Distribution HR team is seeking an HR Advisor to join us in Nottingham or Manchester on a fixed-term contract. You’ll support managers and employees across DCs with ER cases, absence and performance management, and own payroll data cycles to ensure accurate, on-time pay.

Reporting into the HR Business Partner, you’ll partner with line managers, drive data accuracy, and help shape a fair, compliant workplace across Bury, Nottingham and Trafford DCs.

Qualifications

• Proven HR experience in operational/logistics/FMCG with a solid grounding in Employee Relations and formal HR processes
• Ability to advise managers through complex ER cases with empathy and fairness
• Experience handling payroll data extraction or HR reporting with accuracy
• Strong communication across all levels from operatives to senior leadership
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with ability to manage payroll deadlines
• CIPD Level 3 or working towards equivalent
• Proficient in MS Office and HR/payroll systems

Responsibilities

• Support managers and employees with HR processes (absence, performance, grievances, investigations)
• Own the payroll data cycle for DCs and coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate, on-time pay
• Act as liaison between DCs and payroll and monitor data flows
• Provide onboarding and maintain organisational data across sites
• Support day-to-day HR queries and issue resolution
