Babcock is seeking a DBA Manager to lead Oracle database and middleware services in a hybrid role based in Bristol/Stoke Gifford. You will guide a team, drive performance, security, and reliability, and help transition to an in-house function.

The role emphasizes leadership of technical teams, delivery of project plans, and collaboration with cross-functional groups to implement new digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing database and middleware environments in complex systems.
• Leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Familiar with Oracle technologies such as WebLogic, SOA Suite, Identity Management, and modern Oracle database platforms.
• Experience working with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimise performance and reliability.
