Job summary

Boston Tea Party is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead one of our kitchens. You’ll take ownership of your kitchen, coach your team and work alongside the General Manager to deliver great food and a brilliant guest experience.

Qualifications

• You’ll own everything that happens in your kitchen — your people, your food, your standards and your numbers.
• Lead, coach and develop a brilliant kitchen team.
• Set the pace during busy services and be right there cooking alongside your team.
• Make sure every plate leaving your kitchen is something you’re proud to serve.
• Recruit great people and develop your chefs to take their next step.
• Manage ordering, stock, labour and waste with a strong commercial eye.
• Maintain brilliant food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standards.
• Work closely with your General Manager to grow the café and deliver a great guest experience.
• Create a kitchen culture where people feel supported, challenged and excited to come to work.
• Take ownership when things don't go to plan and find ways to make them better.
