Job summary

Boston Tea Party is seeking a General Manager to lead one of our cafés on the front line, shaping the culture and performance from the floor. You’ll build and empower a strong team, deliver exceptional hospitality, manage operations, and nurture community ties to create a great place to work and visit.

You don’t need prior Boston experience, but you must love hospitality and leading people. A strong track record in café or restaurant leadership will help you thrive in this role.

Be the person who makes it happen.

We’re looking for a brilliant General Manager to lead one of our Boston Tea Party cafés.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to manage from the office. Our GMs are right at the heart of their cafés, leading from the floor, building brilliant teams, getting to know their regulars and creating the kind of place people genuinely want to work in and visit.

You’ll have the freedom to make your café your own, backed by a business that believes great hospitality starts with great people.

What you'll be doing

You’ll take ownership of the whole café: your people, your customers, your community and your numbers.

That means you’ll:

• Build, lead and develop an incredible café team.

Who we're looking for

You don't need to have worked at Boston before, but you do need to love hospitality and love leading people.

You might already be a General Manager, Restaurant Manager or Store Manager, or you could be a brilliant Assistant Manager who's ready for the next step.
