Job summary

Evri UK is recruiting a PMShift Warehouse Supervisor at Avonmouth Depot to lead an evening team of loaders, sorters and drivers, ensuring smooth operation and timely parcel processing.

Reporting to the Day Shift Manager, you will drive performance, safety and efficiency, balance staffing, training and discipline as required, and contribute to delivering an excellent service to customers while supporting the broader depot objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading and managing a team.
• Able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment.
• Experience in fast-paced logistics is advantageous.
• Proficient with MS Office and data reporting.
• Understanding of transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of up to 30 direct reports with leadership and direction for the shift.
• Develop and train reports and ensure SLA’s are hit for the day shift.
• Ensure compliance with all site HSES rules and regulations.
• Process BI and MI reports based on work output of Drivers and Loaders.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

Our PM Shift also knows as Twilight typically starts between14:00 dependant on volumes working Sunday to Thursday with full flexibility required to cover the operation.

Job Purpose:

Our PMShift Warehouse Supervisor is a key role working with our Day Shift Manager to ensure the smooth running of the day operation in our Depot where you will lead teams ofLoaders, Sorters and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites in to smaller geographic areas to be delivered to the final customer.

About the Role:

You’ll be joining our business as a key member of the Depot Management team. Working under the Dayshift Manager, you will support your Depot by providing strong man-management to all front-line staff on your shift.

You will supervise a mixed team of contracted and agency staff across our day shifts. This Shift is key to our business as it is when we process the growing returns part of our business as well as parcels collected from our network of Parcel Shops.

We are looking for like minded Professionals who can motivate, manage and where necessary discipline a diverse workforce to get the best out of them.

Responsibilities:

Essential skills and experience required:

• Managementexperience of leading and managing a team
• Mustbe able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines
• Experience of managing teams in a fast-paced logistics environment is a definite advantage
• PCLiterate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Anunderstanding of Transport regulations
• Goodcommunicator and able to liaise at all levels
• Flexibleapproach to work to meet business requirements
