Job summary

Evri Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operations Supervisor to help ensure safe, efficient throughput within the sortation areas. It is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse, requiring a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail to ensure every parcel reaches the customer on time.

The role involves supervising deliveries, managing bulk/return flows, supporting planning, and ensuring LGV transport rules are followed while KPI targets are met or exceeded.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year working in a comparable or acting supervisory role.
• Knowledge of resource management and deployment.
• Excellent communicator able to provide, receive and implement operational information and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Supervision & reconciliation of warehouse (deliveries, Holdbay etc).
• Efficient management of bulk/return deliveries with C&D and LGV fleet.
• Support Bulk Collection Customer Planning.
• Support LGV Transport rules & regulations.
• Effective deployment of all operational resources in accordance with the work area requirements.
• Ensure KPI targets are achieved or exceeded in accordance with the work area requirements.
• Attend training and personal development courses as arranged.

ContractType: Permanent – 42.5 hours

Shift: Days/ Monday-Friday 05:30 - 14:00

What you’ll do:

This role will ensure the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within the various sortation areas of the operation in accordance with the individual work area requirements. You will need a strong work ethic and real attention to detail. It’s a physical job, in a busy warehouse hub that’s always working at full speed, so you’ll be on the go throughout your shift. Whatever task you’re performing, your attention to detail will make sure every parcel gets to its customer right on time.
