Job summary

H&T Group Ltd in Sutton is seeking an experienced HR Shared Services Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The role focuses on onboarding, employee data management, and delivering a high-quality HR service using Dayforce.

You will handle onboarding, offboarding, HR queries, GDPR compliance, and support system enhancements, while building strong relationships with managers and stakeholders in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using Dayforce including data management and reporting.
• Experience in a busy HR environment supporting managers and employees.
• Experience triaging and managing HR queries.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management.
• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding activities, including offer letters, contracts, pre-employment checks.
• Manage offboarding and ensure a professional departure experience.
• Respond to HR queries via shared mailboxes with timely support.
• Maintain accurate employee records and lifecycle changes.
• Ensure HR documentation complies with GDPR and confidentiality.
• Support delivery of a high-quality HR service across the business.
• Support managers with routine employee issues and escalation.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and deliver customer-focused HR service.
• Identify HR query trends and suggest process improvements.
• Support HR systems implementation and data migration.
• Participate in UAT to improve system functionality.
• Create user guides and support adoption of self-service tools.
• Generate HR reports and provide meaningful insights.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.
• Review and maintain HR procedures for compliance.
• Contribute to culture of continuous improvement across HR.
