Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or acting supervisory experience.
• Experience managing large teams (20+ colleagues).
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience working against productivity, performance or operational KPIs.
• Ability to allocate resources effectively against changing demands.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach to improving performance and colleague engagement.
• Confident in fast-paced, time-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Warehouse Operatives during the Day Shift.
• Allocate people and resources to match parcel volumes and requirements.
• Monitor productivity and KPIs, taking timely action.
• Ensure parcels move safely and efficiently through the Hub.
• Coach and develop colleagues to improve performance.
• Conduct team briefings and maintain clear communication.
• Promote Health & Safety culture and safe practices.
• Complete equipment and process readiness checks.
• Identify and respond to operational issues with timely decisions.
• Support the Process Manager to meet productivity, service and quality targets.
• Collaborate with other teams to maintain smooth workflow at Coventry Hub.
• Drive engagement and foster a high-performing team environment.
