Job summary

Coverage Care Services Ltd is seeking a Day Shift Leader to supervise the care team and ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will work to a resident care plan, support daily living activities, and promote independence.

The role involves leading staff, undertaking personal care, administering medications, and ensuring all paperwork is completed in line with care plans. A set 2-week rolling rota includes alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience of caring for others in a care setting is essential.
• Must hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or be working towards Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Lead the care team and ensure welfare of residents.
• Undertake personal care and administer medication as required.
• Ensure all paperwork and care plans are completed accurately.

Job description

Day Shift Leader – 18.37 & 36.75 available

We are looking for caring, sensitive, compassionate individuals to join our senior care team to support the delivery of a high quality service to our service users, enhancing their quality of life, whilst promoting independence. We provide person centered care which starts with a care plan for every resident. Documented in this are all the daily living activities needs and preferences; therefore your duties will include; ensuring the welfare of the residents and their needs in line with care plans, leading the care team, undertake personal care, administering medication, and ensuring all paperwork is completed. Experience of caring for others in a care setting is essential. You MUST hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or have completed Level 2 and be working towards Level 3.
