Job summary

Coverage Care Services Ltd is seeking a Day / Night / Relief / Home Support Team Shift Leader to manage 36 to 48 hours per week across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. A full UK driving licence is essential as you will travel to 10 care homes.

You will lead a senior care team, provide person-centred care and ensure care plans are followed. The role includes medication administration, paperwork completion, and delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is mandatory.
• Full UK clean driving licence required for travel to 10 care homes.
• Experience of caring for others in a care setting is essential.
• Must be able to undertake personal care and administer medication per care plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the care team and ensure welfare of residents according to care plans.
• Undertake personal care and administer medication when required.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Travel between 10 care homes in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

Day / Night / Relief /Home Support Team Shift Leader - 36 to 48 hours per week - Must hold a full clean driving licence.We also pay a £1 per hour weekend enhancement. This is valid from Midnight Friday to Midnight Sunday.We are looking for caring, sensitive, compassionate individuals to join our senior care team to support the delivery of a high quality service to our service users, enhancing their quality of life, whilst promoting independence. We provide person centered care which starts with a care plan for every resident. Documented in this are all the daily living activities needs and preferences; therefore your duties will include; ensuring the welfare of the residents and their needs in line with care plans, leading the care team, undertake personal care, administering medication, and ensuring all paperwork is completed. Full details are included in the job information pack.Experience of caring for others in a care setting is essential. You MUST hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and hold a full UK clean driving licence as you will be required to travel to each of our 10 care homes in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.In return we will also:Offer a competitive salary.
