Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Day Electrician to support our Data Centre Solutions team in London. You will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance, reactive and breakdown work across electrical systems, ensuring compliance with SLAs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include liaising with the Shift Manager, working with UPS, Generators, LV/HV, PDU and CRAC units, and maintaining critical building services in a fast-paced data centre environment.

Qualifications

• A good basic education with strong English & maths.
• Formal electrical qualification; BS7671 2018 18th Edition Regs.
• Experience maintaining humidity/temperature controlled environments; knowledge of generators, UPS, LV/HV, PDU, CRAC units.
• Experience in a data centre or other critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine PPMs on electrical plant per site task schedules.
• Complete reactive tasks and outages to high standards; highlight improvements.
• Escalate incidents and hazards promptly to the Shift Manager.
• Ensure safe working practices with Method Statements & Risk Assessments.
• Supervise sub-contractors and ensure permits & Risk Assessments are followed.
• Maintain up-to-date shift logs, paperwork and timesheets.
