Job summary

CBRE in London is seeking an M&E Shift Technician to manage delivery of services within a high‑availability data centre. You will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive works on UPS, Generators, HV, PDUs, CRAC units and other building services, ensuring compliance with customer SLAs and site task schedules.

The role requires HV qualification and Authorised Person status, strong English communication, and flexibility to cover a 24/7 rota.

Qualifications

Formally trained City & Guilds in Mechanical/Electrical/Refrigeration Building Services maintenance.
HV authorised or permissible for HV work; Authorised Person status preferred.
BS7671 2018 18th Edition Regulations knowledge.
Experience maintaining data centre critical environments is desirable.
Good written and spoken English and basic maths.

Responsibilities

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive works on mechanical and electrical plant.
Maintain and monitor environmental conditions for critical building systems.
Resolves faults, faults with UPS, generators, HV, PDUs and CRAC units.
Liaise with Shift Manager and client to meet timescales and KPI targets.
Ensure safe working practices and proper documentation including logs and permits.
