Job summary

CBRE in London is seeking a Day Electrician to maintain critical electrical plant in a data centre, carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive works across UPS, generators, LV/HV, PDU and environmental controls. You will work Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, liaising with the Shift Manager to meet timescales and uphold CBRE's professional image.

The role requires formal electrical qualifications, BS7671 2018 18th Edition, and data centre experience.

Qualifications

• Formal electrical qualification and BS7671 18th Edition Regs.
• Experience in maintaining humidity/temperature conditioned environments.
• Data centre experience.
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical plant.
• Perform reactive and breakdown tasks to electrical systems.
• Liaise with Shift Manager to ensure delivery within timescales.
• Maintain safe working practices and document all tasks.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and ensure permits and risk assessments.
• Keep site logs, spares, and asset lists up to date.
