Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Romford is seeking a Data Centre Shift Electrical Technician with substantial experience in critical facilities.

You will inspect, operate and maintain electrical assets, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and support the Shift Leader to meet client SLAs. Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Data Centre or Critical Environment operations.
Electrical Authorised Person where applicable or willingness to obtain.
Strong communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff.
Proactive in achieving operational excellence with good IT/report writing skills.
Willingness to attend on- and off-site training; nights away may be required.

Responsibilities

Operate all electrical systems within the Data Centre safely and efficiently (including isolations/operations).
Maintain, inspect and repair electrical assets and systems to meet SLAs.
Collaborate with the Data Centre Shift Leader and subcontractors to ensure compliant works.
Record all completed work orders and critical spares used.
Attend team and client meetings; assist in handover and daily shift operations.
Contribute to safety, QHSE compliance and continuous improvement.
