Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled M&E Shift Technician for the Croydon Data Centre. You will manage both PPM and reactive tasks across critical mechanical and electrical systems to sustain uptime and safety.

Working on a 24/7 shift roster, you will liaise with the Shift Manager and client representatives, fault-finding on UPS, generators, HV, PDUs, CRAC units, and uphold CBRE service standards.

Qualifications

• Formally trained City & Guilds in Mechanical/Electrical/Refrigeration Building Services maintenance.
• Experience maintaining humidity and temperature conditioned environments.
• Knowledge of Generators, electrical systems, UPS, Chiller HVAC and BMS.
• HV qualification or Authorised Person status.
• Data centre experience and strong English skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and electrical plant per site schedules.
• Ensure work is performed to high standards and industry practices.
• This role requires HV qualification and Authorised Person status.
• Complete reactive tasks and highlight improvement opportunities on site.
• Maintain safe working practices and up-to-date shift logs.
• Coordinate with Shift Manager and supervise subcontractors on site.
