Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands seeks a Class 1 HGV Driver (Days) for long-term trunking work from Kegworth, based at East Midlands Gateway. You will transport goods between company sites, NDCs and RDCs, with no handball involved. Monday to Friday days. The position offers daily overtime and a path to permanent status.

Required are a valid Class 1 licence held for at least six months, plus current tachograph and DQC cards. A positive, can-do attitude is essential for reliable, steady work.

Qualifications

• Have a valid Class 1 Licence for a minimum of 6 months.
• Must hold current tachograph (tacho) and DQC cards.
• Maintain a positive, can-do attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

• Trunk goods around the UK between company sites, NDCs and RDCs.
• No handball required during shifts.
• Handle trailer swaps and backloads as needed.
